CNN OPINION

The DISEC committee during the 1st day of the conference had 2 updates, which impacted so that the ideas and opinions were separated into 3 blocks, namely for countries with high demand, countries with stable and normal economy and for underdeveloped countries. CNN believes that weapons development is important in several concise ways, such as controlled militarized use, self-protection of citizens, the national and international weapons-based economy, the historical basis that weapons have laid over the years, etc. We believe that instead of having an arduous regime to prevent guns it would not be of great functionality, since people will always find a way to find where to get them and that would not contribute to the economy in a positive way, besides keeping track of who has guns and with what kind of permission or interest they took them out. About the use of AIs, it is always good to have a technological advance, since the world moves and lives by new technology implemented every day, this makes the advancement of technology indispensable for the daily lives of many people around the world. Another point that CNN would like to touch on, is the issue of citizen security, as they have always covered that side of the news, always taking into account the positive things as well as the negative things in general, this makes it best to maintain control over who acquires, advances, handles and influences the general development of weapons and their contact with the people to maintain a line of integrity and security. The issue of terrorist groups is becoming a major focus of attention as the impact of these groups on weapons development is quite important when talking about weapons security and what kind of hands they could end up in in the worst case, CNN believes that there should be more reporting on who gets these weapons and why, just as the USA has done with people who get weapons for some reason.The use of AIs in nuclear weapons was only touched upon in the committee once, and it was this realization that finalized the separation into the three blocs. CNN believes that the implementation of nuclear weapons itself is not the best option for advancement at this time, as the current political crises and wars would not allow their development to be completed in the time needed for general testing throughout the world and in potentially dangerous countries in the event of war.
