On April 20, the death of the Italian Minister of Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto, was announced. The motive for his death was not disclosed until today when it was confirmed that he was killed by a bullet hit by an ACCURAY AW precision-guided missile, suspected of a terrorist act, and the use of AI for the location of the minister and the modified development of the weapon.

The autopsy revealed that he was shot in the head with an ACCURAY AW precision-guided missile fired at his home, and the weapon was found 1km from the scene. It was confirmed that the gun was modified with artificial intelligence coding for a longer-range projectile. The case was linked to the "Red Brigades," an extreme right-wing terrorist group in Italy that had not had much movement in recent years. President Sergio Mattarella gave a speech where he made clear that "Before continuing with the development of weapons and their use, we must keep our people in peace and tranquility," also giving condolences to the minister's family and affected people. Ben Wallace, UK Security Minister, said in an interview that the development of weapons and their maximum power was all thanks to AI basically and that without the use of this intelligence, the process would be slower and less effective, "It's a pity what happened, but one case will not stop the armament world," he said in his own words, after which the Minister called on Australia's President Scott John Morrison to request a private meeting to discuss forming alliances for the better development of mostly AI-based weapons. The Australian President has not made a statement but has accepted the request for a partnership.
